A cow moose and its calf in Maligne Lake, Jasper National Park. This mama was pretty cautios and overprotective because there were 6 different moose at the same place at the same time. Here she's looking at another cow moose (which had a calf) and was being pretty territorial and overprotective. I felt very fortunate to have witnessed this kind of behaviour and it was also very intereisting to see how different cow moose have different personalities, some of them are more tolerant and other are pretty cautios.
